Modular benches for public space
Isola – designed to form islands of relaxation
The effect of furniture in the public domain is frequently underestimated. Good furniture is crucial to an optimal use of public spaces. In turn, properly used public spaces are a prerequisite for busy cities, participation and social integration. Such spaces create genuine encounters and interexchange between people of all ages and thereby increase psychological and physical well-being.
The Italian urban furniture company Euroform K. Winkler created two new modular benches which allows creative combinations. Large seating islands with backrests, with integrated armrests or integrated planters are possible and also benches with different levels. The modular benches are available in Corten steel or galvanized and powder coated. The wooden parts are made in hard wood 100% FSC certified, treated or untreated.
