Alexandra Road Park was designed and built in the late 1970’s and is at the heart of the large Grade II* listed Alexandra and Ainsworth Estate. It has recently been completely restored thanks to a grant from the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund and Big Lottery Fund. It reopened in July 2015.

The renovation of Jubilee Gardens was completed in time for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebration in 2012 and as a key public venue for the London 2012 Olympics. The park, a spectacular green public space along the Thames is now a focal point on the South Bank, adjacent to the London Eye, between Festival Hall and County Hall.

The Treasury Courtyards between St. James Park and Whitehall occupies two roughly square cut outs that once served as light wells in the Treasury’s classic architectural form, the courtyards feature an east-west circulation route that that links to an interior central court. Within each courtyard the axis is intensified by a perpendicular movement, resulting in a cruciform framework that is then softened in plan.
